Rhosygilwen
Rhosygilwen is one of our favourite wedding venues in West Wales. (It’s also just 15 minutes drive from us!) It’s got a gorgeous green oak music hall with an airy atrium overlooking the Pembrokeshire countryside. It has some gorgeous grounds, with lakes, woodland, gardens, garden houses, wild meadows and the beautiful Mansion itself. So many different types of location that having photographed here over a dozen times we’ve never had to reuse the same location for couple portraits!
Take a look through our work, hopefully you’ll see why so many people have chosen us for this great venue.
Pembrokeshire Wedding with Nia and Mike at Rhosygilwen
A fabulous wedding! From crowding into the back of the village church to getting stuck in to the Twmpath, the amazing group of friends Nia and Mike brought with them from Edinburgh livened up every part of the day. Also we had got to know the family really well so felt totally comfortable and part of… Read More
Wedding Photography at Rhosygilwen Mansion with Rhiannon and Will
We love being at Rhosygilwen! But first we got to go back to St Clears – one of the very first churches we photographed at when we were just starting out in this wonderful line of work. We got on so well with Rhiannon and Will, and had a great day with them and their… Read More
Christine and Aled at Rhosygilwen
After getting nicely relaxed together on Christine and Aled’s Mwnt pre-wedding shoot we knew these two would be great to photograph on their wedding day, and they didn’t disappoint. For instance, I can’t remember a ceremony so full of laughter and huge smiles as this one. Chrissie seriously beams all day long – their happiness together constantly… Read More
Sara and Rob at Rhosygilwen
Many of our favourite weddings from our ten years of capturing people’s happiest days have been here in the beautiful Preseli hills. And it’s not because of the picturesque landscape – it’s the wonderful people here. There are families and groups of friends that we’ve been privileged to share weddings with over and over again, who always… Read More
Elinor and Peter’s St David’s Day wedding at Rhosygilwen
Eli and Pete had a beautiful sunny St Davids Day for their wedding last spring. I was only a few days away from giving birth to baby Laine so Vince had the utterly fabulous photographer Owen Howells as his right hand man for the day. As well as it being a privilege to work with him – if we… Read More
Mwnt and Rhosygilwen with Lorna and Aled
Lorna and Aled combined our two absolute favourite venues, Mwnt Church and Rhosygilwen Mansion, for their brilliant wedding day last August. Lorna had the excellent idea of doing hair and make-up in the marquee that was set up in her parents’ garden ready to host brunch next day. Preparations at home can get really crowded and manic but… Read More
Christmas in New York – winter wedding with Tracey and Gary
Tracey and Gary got married just before Christmas at Rhosygilwen Mansion. They had travelled from their current home in north Wales, so we met Tracey at a gorgeous holiday house a stone’s throw from the ocean where they were settled in for a family Christmas with their little boy. Oh we do love Christmas! Look… Read More
Rhosygilwen Wedding Photography with Natalie and Scott
Back in August we had a stunning sunny day with Natalie and Scott at Bethabara Chapel and Rhosygilwen Mansion in Pembrokeshire. Vince and I always shoot as a pair, and as I was picking photos for this blog post I noticed how often I was choosing two angles on the same moment! See how many… Read More
A sunny wedding at Rhosygilwen Mansion – with Caryl and Tom
What a wonderful sunny day we had with Caryl and Tom just down the road at Rhosygilwen Mansion – easily the hottest day of the year, and the warmth of this wedding was not just in the weather. We started amidst extreme calmness with Caryl’s family near Fishguard. If like me you gasped at first… Read More
Carmarthen Wedding with Rachel and Duncan
A very cold winter’s day filled with loads of warm smiles was Rachel and Duncan’s wedding day back in November. Here are a few of our favourite images. All the images are now available here on the Clients page of our Wedding Photography web site.
Wedding with Jess and Mark at Newcastle Emlyn RC Church and Rhosygilwen Mansion
Let’s start off with Vince’s second favourite image of the day! Mark gets a final quiet moment of reflection before plunging into the day. What a day! Loads of relatives over from Italy, blazing sun and thunderstorms within minutes of each other, loads of noise, hubbub, horses, children, music, dancing, love, lanterns, laughter and happily… Read More
Fiona and Phil’s Rhosygilwen wedding
Our day started at Llanboidy Church, with friends and family arriving to be greeted by Phil and his team of groomsmen. With perfect timing Fiona arrived in her lovely carriage, and was then led into the church by her father. In spite of a blustery day Fiona & Phil had the top down as they… Read More
Natalie and Sam at RhosyGilwen and The Cliff Hotel
Childhood friends Natalie and Sam went to great lengths to get the wedding of their dreams. Natalie and her bridesmaids were up at literally the crack of dawn preparing, while the UK’s only stretch Mini, all they way from the Midlands, awaited them. Whilst we’ve photographed many wedding receptions at RhosyGilwen, this was the first… Read More
Photographs from Ryan and Becca’s Rhosygilwen wedding
We knew from the out that this was going to be a lovely and relaxed day – when we arrived to take photos of Becca getting ready there was no rush and panic: the family were sat in the sunny garden enjoying a fried breakfast! And Ryan was equally cool as he waited at St… Read More
