Charlie and Jon’s St David’s Cathedral Wedding

August 16, 2010 by vincesjones

We have to admit that there are times when we anticipate certain weddings with excitement beyond the usual. Not that all weddings aren’t a joy; they are all a privilege to attend. However, Charlie and Jon’s wedding was unique in many ways – the ceremony carried out by the Bride’s father, in one of Wales’ most famous and beautiful Cathedrals, with a reception full of novel little twists held at the Pembrokeshire family home. [WARNING! This wedding contains snakes and large insects!]

After a relaxing time at the Cathedral we headed back to the family home for drinks in the walled garden and the reception in a lovely marquee.

Charlie and Jon watch the steel band before having a try themselves!

Charlie’s 3 brothers surprised her with a quiz show to see who knows her the best.

Meanwhile the children were kept amused with a wildlife show including snakes, scorpions and giant millipedes!

It was lovely to spend the day with such a fabulous couple, warm family and friends. All the photos from the day are now available on the Client Section of our Wedding Photography site
