We had a great time a few weeks ago at Manorbier Castle, at Sarah and Adam’s utterly gorgeous, meticulously planned, and sweltering hot wedding celebration!
We started out where Sarah and her bridesmaids were getting ready in this beautiful cottage in the grounds of the Castle. That’s Dad there, ready first as always. π
In the meantime up the road, Adam and the boys were having an equally smiley time. π
As Sarah’s mum helped her to dress, I was struck once again by what a privilege it is to be present as a family prepare for a marriage. They really are sacred moments and we don’t take lightly the invitation to be with you to capture the beauty and emotion of Β this precious time.
Adam had these earrings specially made for Sarah – to his own design!! What a lovely lovely gift, and a wonderful way to get your ‘something blue!’
Then we were all off to Meidrim Church in Carmarthenshire.
We have blessed so often recently with blissful light inside the church. It was so warm and golden in there!
Lots of people were keen to have a go at ringing the bells!
We spent a little while at the beach just below the castle for a relaxed portrait session.
Then everyone gathered in the castle grounds, where it appeared that a good time was had by all. We LOVE having enough time at the reception to drift among the guests and capture people doing their natural thing. These are our favourite type of images and one of the main reasons our clients choose us.
What a perfect setting for a wedding reception! Just so gorgeous!! And inside the marquee was just as impressive – really fresh and simple, with every place name written on a pebble from Manorbier beach!
All of the images from the day and night are now available to view and order via the Clients section of our Wedding Photography site. Thanks you two and your families and friends for such a fun day! We felt genuinely welcomed and your ushers and bridesmaids were immensely helpful and made everything go so smoothly for us. We really loved being with you and wish you a very happy future together!
