Here’s another catch-up post! Catrin and Aled got married back in June, on our ONLY wedding day this summer where rainy weather had any effect! Luckily it never affects the gorgeous smiles, excitement and love. It was a lovely wedding day full of beautiful details.
Big red bus for the guests, horse and carriage for the beautiful bride!
I actually really love umbrella photos! Not sure why, but I always quite enjoy the chance to take them. 🙂 Clear ones like this are an especially good idea for weddings because they don’t hide anything.
Sadly it was wet enough that Catrin and Aled had to say goodbye to the horse and carriage and planned beach stop, and get on the bus! With drinks provided, it certainly was where the party was!
The newly refurbished Gwesty’r Emlyn in Newcastle Emlyn was ready with a warm welcome; and family photos indoors are never a problem!
We had a pre-wedding shoot with Catrin and Aled so they knew how easy it is to be in front of the camera…in fact during the speeches there was more than one joke about what a great model Aled was, apparently to the surprise of his family and friends! So we were able to get some lovely portraits around the hotel after dinner. We may yet find a sunny day for a Take Two session so we can extend the modelling experience!!
