We did the whole deal with Suzanne and Hefin – Pre-wedding Shoot, Wedding Day, and Take Two session – and it was really brilliant getting to spend so much time with them and capture their complete wedding story! This shoot took place in early July during Suzanne and Hefin’s honeymoon in Pembrokeshire; these first few shots were actually taken in the gorgeous garden of the holiday cottage where they were staying.
One of the many cool things about Take Two is having time to really explore your chosen spot and get all sorts of backgrounds and locations. This time we went to the little ruined church and the beach at Cwm yr Eglwys, and then all around Dinas Head finishing up in a gorgeous secluded cove that needed a bit of rock climbing to get into! You might have to look away for a while if you don’t like heights, as Suzi and Hefin did not shy away from narrow cliff paths and steep drops!!
Suzi and Hefin had 200 guests at their fabulous garden wedding so there was constantly loads going on around them – a blissful but busy day. Spending an afternoon in all your finery, re-living the memories while surrounded by such peace and stillness, seems like the perfect way to round off an awesome week! It was an absolute privilege to be with them to capture it.
Look at that water!! I was quite tempted to have a paddle myself, though I don’t think it was as warm as it might look!
