Many of our favourite weddings from our ten years of capturing people’s happiest days have been here in the beautiful Preseli hills. And it’s not because of the picturesque landscape – it’s the wonderful people here. There are families and groups of friends that we’ve been privileged to share weddings with over and over again, who always make us feel part of their amazing community, and who we have stayed friends with for many years. Here is yet another fabulous family – we photographed both Sara and her sister during 2014.
Vince’s second shooter for the day was Lorna, owner of the fab local photography company Just Shoot Me.
It was pretty blustery when Sara got home from the hairdresser…it gets worse.
We’ve seen this lorry used as a wedding vehicle before with the Davies family! Look out for it again later in this wedding. 🙂
I love how storm clouds can add such drama to a photo…but sadly they broke just at the wrong moment for Sara! No spirits were dampened though in the dash to the chapel.
It was another rainy mad dash to the carriage afterwards – I felt a bit sorry for the coachman of these beautiful Gentle Giants sitting in the driving rain – but within minutes the sun was out and Rob and Sara could have the top down for their grand entrance at Rhosygilwen.
The lorry! I think this is what’s known as a Groom’s cake. 🙂
