Rhiannon and Rhodri got married at St Michael’s in Penbryn, a little whitewashed church beautiful in its simplicity; then we stopped at Mwnt beach and church for photos before going on to the Cliff Hotel – a dreamteam of locations really! Combine that with the outstanding singing from Rhiannon and her school girls choir, and meeting up with former clients who are quite special to us, and it made for rather a fab day all in all!
We love this picture of Rhodri with his sister Lisa and his newborn niece. We photographed Lisa and Gary’s wedding several years ago and this photo of Lisa climbing to the top of Mwnt hill, taken on their Take Two session, has become THE iconic image of Whole Picture wedding photography. She has headed our portfolio gallery through all its changes – she is even up on the wall of our office! So being with Lisa and Gary and all of the family again was truly a pleasure.
We are primarily documentary photographers and we like to go about catching people unawares doing their own thing. These days inevitably what we catch people doing is taking pictures of themselves! I’ve collected together some of the cutest of those moments!
