This has to be one of our most favourite weddings from the last couple of years…and yet we almost didn’t get to photograph it. Usually we strictly limit the number of weddings we take so that every couple gets great service, and we get to see our kids sometimes! So initially we had told Non and Tom that we weren’t available, but when they came back willing to change to any date we wanted and told us how much time they had spent on our web site and blog with their hearts completely set on having us, we just melted. And we were so glad they persuaded us!! You’ll see why as you look at this amazing, beautiful, happy happy day. The moral of the story is…don’t wait! Book now. 🙂
Non’s shoe collection for the day – perfect!
This absolute stunner of a church is a just a few fields across from our house. But it’s hidden away down tiny roads, through farmyards, at the end of a secret lane…that’s what it felt like! It is such a gorgeous surprise – the views from the door, and the grounds full of thigh-high wild daisies just made our day.
The flowers at this wedding were just immense – and they were everywhere! Created by the very talented Wendy at Blodau Blodwen.
We made a quick stop at Henllan Bridge for some photos before moving on to the yard of Non’s family farm – from where their reception Tipi was visible across the fields!
What a night…a pretty epic first dance, Tom drumming with the band, intergenerational cricket and rugby matches going on into the night, and indoor fire pits. We truly had a brilliant time and were SO glad Tom and Non had talked us into it. 🙂
All the photos can be seen, purchased, and viewed as a slideshow on the Client Galleries page of our Wedding Photography web page. Thanks again you two for such a beautiful day.
