Eleri and Geraint at home with all the animals!

Catch-up blogging of old weddings we just can’t leave out! This is the bold and bubbly Eleri and Geraint at the beautiful church in the picturesque village of Talybont, Ceredigion – joined by a surprising number of animals. Some truly unique moments to look out for here!

People’s pets often make an appearance at weddings and this little fellow was happy to join in. Little did we know this was just the start of the menagerie. 

      

Eleri loves her horses, so she not only said goodbye to them before leaving for her wedding, but borrowed their car. 🙂  The wedding party arriving in a scrubbed and shiny horse transporter was a first for us!

Beautiful music provided by Sian and Bryn, whose own very musical wedding we photographed earlier in the year.

Staying with the scrubbed-up farm transport, Geraint drove them out into the fields for a little photoshoot overlooking the amazing coast and countryside.

     

Remember Llyr the auctioneer who brought a heifer into the wedding of Sian and Bryn linked above? Here he is again, auctioning something slightly bigger. Of course ultimately this beauty was a gift from Geraint to Eleri. 🙂 

Then Best Man Bryn presented a chicken! Why? (We really don’t know – possibly our level of Welsh just didn’t keep up with that one!) And of course Bryn also presented a song, one for everyone to join in with this time. 🙂

Geraint wasn’t to be left out, but he received a smaller gift in the form of a rather adorable sheepdog puppy. 

And after that rather spectacular first dance, and group performance by the wedding party, we can’t forget the heifer. 

What a day, all in all. It was a privilege to be with this great group of friends who we now know very well. (Just last weekend we captured Llyr the auctioneer’s wedding – sneak peek here!)
