Last autumn we were thrilled to photograph the very first wedding held at a gorgeous new venue, Ffynone Mansion in Boncath, north Pembrokeshire. A stunning Georgian house with a music room and library and the most amazing ceilings, set in manicured grounds looking out over the rolling Pembrokeshire countryside. This is a rather long blog post, because it was such a brilliant and beautiful day with Amy and Hefin – everyone and everything looked so amazing that I can’t cut it down any further!
Amy and all her bridesmaids are Australian and are accustomed to spending a significant amount of time on photos of the bridal party, as you’ll see. Local boy Hefin knew the neighbouring landowner and got us permission to use the some fabulous run-down farm buildings – resulting in some of our favourite ever group and couple photos! And then instead of a first dance there was a first song! Enjoy. 🙂
Our fave make-up artist, Nia of Delwedd.
This is ‘Mabel’ a 1955 Morris Minor Split Screen Convertible from Darren & Gemma at Top Class Cars. This was one of her first days out and she was a stunner!
Flowers are by the lovely Jen at Florist on the Farm.
One of our fave musical entertainment acts Fiddlebox!
The fun Australian tradition of announcing in the wedding party in pairs ahead of the Bride and Groom!
They are singing the Moldy Peaches song Anyone Else But You!
Fabulous!! Happy Anniversary to Amy and Hef, and congrats on the new baby! All the photos can be seen, viewed as a slideshow, and purchased on the Client Galleries page of our Wedding Photography web site.
